False Solomon’s-seal

The roots of this plant were used by Native groups for a number of medicinal purposes. The young greens and fleshy rhizomes were eaten. Some Interior Native groups also ate the berries. In spring some Native groups gathered the rhizomes and berries to make a cleanser for fishing nets.
